Teamwork development
In teamwork development the aim is to create common work practices for the entire team in order for them to fulfil their mission. Teams should build and develop shared tools for managing their work and decide upon an appropriate work distribution that facilitates learning and joint responsibility. The team must see its task as a part of a larger whole and therefore the team should continuously evaluate and develop its partners and cooperation.
A team should also recognise what kind of rules and frameworks guide its actions. Furthermore the team should also create a set of internal rules that guide the teams “internal life”; discussion, feedback, responsibilities etc. The team should also reflect on its composition against its mission – what kind of people are needed in the team and how is their competence maintained and developed?
In teamwork development, Vectia Learning Systems takes both the team structure as well as the interaction and collaboration between the different team members into account. The team structure is the wall upon which the team’s actions are built, and the energy, creativity, motivation and social skills needed in the team form the creeper climbing up the wall.
